Technical translation

There is more than just one

Here is the key question: For what purpose do you need the translation? We provide three job levels to accommodate different requirements: Basic, Expert and Premium. Please remember: No matter which job level you choose, the translator is always a professional. This is because we apply rigorous criteria to the selection of our translators: Each of them must successfully complete a three-stage selection procedure before they can translate for you. This system ensures that only qualified translators with many years of professional experience will ever translate your texts.

Our specialists translate exclusively into their native languages. This ensures they have the best understanding of the particular idiomatic characteristics of the target language. This is how we guarantee the highest standards of linguistic authenticity. We use modern CAT tools (computer-aided translation tools) to ensure that the translations maintain a consistent style and that they adhere to your company’s vocabulary. Even our seasoned, specialist translators are rated continuously. In this way, we maintain unwavering quality and streamlined processes. Our system connects us with over 4600 specialist translators for 53 languages across the globe, ensuring we locate a qualified industry expert for even the most demanding project.

We use innovative technology to ensure quick and convenient management of all processes. Simply upload the translation jobs to your personal dashboard and pick them up from exactly the same spot once the translations are done. You can also track the status of your translation projects any time you like.

We classify our specialist translations in three job level categories:

Basic

A specialist translator produces your text. Not a machine and certainly no beginner. For a good quality technical translation of your text within a short time frame. This service level is the exception to the rule, as there is no revision carried out by a second independent language specialist.

Expert

Dual control principle. A reviser will check the translator’s work in this category. The reviser ensures completeness, accurate spelling, proper grammar and the correct use of all terminology in accordance with the source text. An Expert translation meets the requirements of DIN EN 15038 and ISO 17100.

Premium

Triple control principle. For business presentations, company websites or invitations to your annual general meeting. Another pair of eyes is involved here – and the mind they belong to: the technical editor. The editor is responsible for linguistic precision, corporate language and style. The editor makes certain that the message of the text reaches its target group precisely as intended. A Premium translation meets the requirements of the DIN EN 15038 standard, i.e. its successor ISO 17100.

Translations in the job levels Expert and Premium satisfy DIN 15038 and ISO 17100.
