The professional title ‘translator’ is not protected, and can be used by anyone, even without a qualification or any other form of legitimation. We have developed a three-stage selection procedure to find the best specialist translators and copywriters, and to ensure that only seasoned professionals work on your behalf. Our acceptance criteria are among the toughest in the industry.
First we check the qualifications. We require at least a university degree plus several years of professional experience. Any applicants unable to present meaningful references will be asked to complete a trial translation in their specialist field to prove their credentials. After completing these stages flawlessly, the translator is then accepted into our network on a probationary basis. An academic qualification and several years of professional experience? professional experience as a basic requirement for our experts
Flawless quality with standards according to DIN EN 15038
Recently accepted translators spend a while ‘on probation’. This period will involve particularly strict appraisal of their work. Their status is not switched to ‘accepted’ until they have produced excellent results over a longer period. We continue to scrutinise the quality of each project that a translator completes based on the criteria defined in our rating system.
We will find the most suitable specialist translators for your project thanks to our 360° rating system.
Our quality manager is a certified auditor according to ISO 9001. Her sole task is to maintain and improve our quality.
We offer the triple control principle to accommodate translations that must adhere to the highest standards. An experienced editor puts the finishing touches to your texts and adapts them perfectly to suit the intended purpose and target group.
