The challenge

A staggering 125,000 trade visitors from 149 countries came to the International Dental Show in Cologne to take a personal look at the new products, developments and services in the field of dental medicine. Keeping their ears as close to the ground as possible, the reporters from Dental Tribune posted their articles directly from the trade show. All of the articles needed to be translated and ready for printing by copy deadline the same day to make sure they would appear in the next day’s edition of the congress newspaper. Besides the extremely tight schedule, the significant variety of text types was another of the challenges, as the articles included technical texts from the world of medicine alongside marketing information.

Why pick Toptranslation?

Dental Tribune readers are almost exclusively dentists, dental technicians or orthodontic surgeons. 'Our readers demand high standards, which made it particularly important that our texts are translated not just by native speakers, but by real industry insiders. It never took longer than two hours to translate the texts.' The Account Manager in charge was in close contact with the specialist translators and the Dental Tribune throughout the entire translation process, coordinating the work and informing the customer in regular intervals on how the project was progressing. Strict adherence to the Dental Tribune requirements laid the foundation for a truly individual solution.
