We are certified in accordance with ISO 17100, the international standard for translation service providers. This standard provides an internationally valid framework for translation and the associated processes, including quality assurance and ensuring traceability. The ISO 17100 standard, which was introduced in 2015, is the successor to DIN EN 15038, the European standard for translation service providers, and contains very strict requirements:

  • Selection of translators, revisers, proofreaders and project managers according to clearly defined standards
  • defined measures for assessing the translators used
  • each translator has a formal higher translation education (recognized university degree) or comparable education in another field with at least two years of documented translation experience or at least five years of documented professional translation experience
  • regular quality checks are carried out as part of quality management, which are documented and can be called up at any time
  • Project management with the help of professional technical support
  • confidential handling of all information and documents.
